Pierogi Sliders

Guess what happens when you take the cuteness of sliders and the comfort of pierogi? Magic!

Whether you’re hosting a party, a game day gathering, or just treating yourself to a mini-feast (ultimate girl dinner, anyone?) , Pierogi Sliders are the perfect side-kick.

Today we’re turning up the heat with Jalapeño & Cheddar Pierogi Sliders. It’s not just a recipe; it’s a symphony of spicy, sweet & savory flavors tucked snugly between mini slider buns. Come indulge with us.

Jalapeño & Cheddar Pierogi Sliders

Ingredients:

  • Jaju Jalapeño & Cheddar Pierogi

  • 1 onion, sliced thin

  • Balsamic Vinegar

  • 1 pound ground beef, turkey, or Impossible Meat

  • Slider rolls (We love Kings Hawaiian for that pillowy softness)

  • Burger meat seasonings of choice (we used garlic powder, onion powder, salt & pepper)

Method:

  1. Put ground meat in a medium bowl and season generously. Mix together with hands to form tiny burger patties and set aside on plate.

  2. Time to get the onions caramelized. Add them to a small pan and cook on low-stirring frequently for around 10 minutes. Once they start to stick to the pan, lightly deglaze them with a small pour of balsamic vinegar. Stir and continue cooking and stirring, around 10 minutes more until soft & fragrant.

  3. Pan-fry your Jalapeño & Cheddar Pierogi per package instructions until golden brown to reach spicy perfection.

  4. While pierogi are sizzling, grill or cook your mini burgers until desired doneness. We cooked ours in a pan for 4-5 minutes on each side.

  5. To assemble sliders: lay down each burger patty on the bottom half of each slider bun. Top the burger with a generous helping of caramelized onions, then lay on top your Jalapeño & Cheddar Pierogi. Seal the deal with the other half of the bun and a toothpick to secure. Enjoy!

Get creative and add your favorite toppings, dunk them in your sauce of choice, or anything that adds a little cha-cha to your slider. The possibilities are endless.
