Pierogi + dip duos

We often get asked: What are the best sauces or toppings to pair with our pierogi? Here is a breakdown of our favorite quick dips for pierogi pairings that you won’t want to share.

Potato & cheese + herbed sour cream

Pierogi just aren’t the same without their sidekick: Sour cream. We like to kick things up a notch with this quick but addicting herbed sour cream dip.

Potato & cheese pierogi with herbed sour cream dip

Herbed sour cream dip

  • 1 cup sour cream

  • 1 TBSP fresh chives, finely chopped

  • 1 TBSP fresh parsley, finely chopped

  • 1 TSP lemon juice

  • Salt & pepper to taste

  1. In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients and mix well together.

  2. Season to taste with salt & pepper

  3. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 20 minutes before serving

  4. Garnish with fresh herbs for pop of color

The coolness of the sour cream complements the warm, cheesy goodness of our pierogi, while the lemon & herbs add a zesty touch to cut through the richness, creating the perfect balance.

Sweet potato & caramelized onion + whipped goat cheese

You truly haven’t lived until you’ve experienced the taste of our sweet potato pierogi smothered in whipped goat cheese.  The tang of the goat cheese balances the sweetness of the sweet potato and caramelized onion. Allow the goat cheese to come to room temperature, then whip it until it transforms into a light and airy topping, perfect for dipping.

Jalapeño cheddar + bacon, chive & ranch dip

Our jalapeño cheddar pierogi bring heat and flavor on their own, but we love to complement them with a bacon, chive and ranch dip. These are perfect for a snack attack or for an easy party appetizer everyone will love.
