Plump Dumplings From Jaju Pierogi Land at Bow Market

Food vendors are opening one by one at Somerville’s new Bow Market in Union Square. With Buenas making its debut last Thursday, this week’s addition is Jaju Pierogi, run by sisters Casey and Vanessa White.

Jaju threw open the doors to its Bow Market storefront on Wednesday, June 27, offering a special Buffalo chicken pierogi in addition to familiar flavors like potato and cheese and sweet potato with caramelized onion. The White sisters launched Jaju in 2015 and have spent the last few years selling their Polish dumplings at brewery pop-ups, pizzerias, and other establishments around Greater Boston. They hand-make the pierogies in Lynn and will continue running pop-ups even as the Somerville location operates year-round.
